There are tons of dieting programs and diet pills out there claiming to help you lose A MASS AMOUNT of weight with no change to your lifestyle, simply by taking a single capsule a day….sound familiar?

It’s no wonder we see these ads consistently throughout the day, considering slimming down is the number one thing people struggle with.

If you can relate, and are serious about reducing your waistline and keeping it that way, read on…

We are going to reveal the TOP FIVE diet scams you must watch out for:

1. Garcinia Cambogia

If you’ve heard of this supplement, you probably have also heard the claims that come along with it.

The claims many marketers of this supplement make include: losing 10 pounds a week, increasing your fat metabolism by 50%, and giving you more energy during workouts. Sounds too good to be true?

That’s because it is.

There are currently no studies that support these claims, and many studies that have been done on this supplement have been done with animals rather than humans.

The few studies that did use humans, were not backed by scientific evidence, and the results could not say conclusively if a participant did lose any weight, that it was because of the pill at all.

This supplement, frankly, is useless and a complete money waster.

2. Diet Patches

These “instant” result patches sound like a dieter’s DREAM. Stick a patch on your arm and boom! You’re down 20 pounds.

The claims made on diet patches are robust – so much so that several lawsuits have been filed (and won) against the false claims that many of these products have made.

A product such as this does not require rigorous testing by the FDA to prove they actually work, and the few studies that have actually been done on diet patches do not meet the standards for scientific testing.

While a weight loss product like this would be great, the truth is they simply do not work.

3. Green Coffee Bean Extract

This is another one that unfortunately comes with weak studies. There isn’t enough research to state this supplement is effective or even safe.

One study conducted on this supplement was done by a company that manufactures green coffee bean extract – wow!

Another study done by Dr. Oz, which was not an actual scientific study, showed that participants in the study who took the supplement lost a mere 0.76 pounds more than those who did not take the supplement.

It is also worth noting that the subjects in this study who took the supplement were instructed to take more than the recommended dosage.

So, are these results worth shelling out the outrageous prices these companies charge? We didn’t think so either.

4. Fat-Calorie-Carb Blocking Diet Pills

In short, these pills don’t block fat, calories, or carbs from being absorbed, they simply increase the amount of time it takes to digest them…

SO while these sound like miracle pills, they are in fact, too good to be true.

Many studies conducted using these types of diet pills were poorly designed and included only a few participants.

The outrageous claims made by many of the companies producing these “diet pills” have gotten them into some serious legal trouble. And it’s no wonder, considering that duping people into thinking they can lose 50 lbs. by taking a single pill and still eating whatever they want is criminal.

5. Raspberry Ketones

The makers of this supplement knew what they were doing when they named it!

They included “Keto” in the name to make you think this diet pill works the same way as a low carb, keto diet.

Surprise! This supplement has actually nothing to do with low-carb diets…

Additionally, raspberry ketone diet pills are synthetically manufactured and are not actually derived from raspberries. This is because it would be too expensive to use real raspberries.

There has not been a single study done on raspberry ketones in humans. Why, then, they have become such a trending weight loss product is unbeknownst to us.
